QUESTION: Who are the “Two Witnesses”?

ANSWER: The process of elimination is essential in determining the identity of the “Two Witnesses”.

There is no doubt about the identity of one of the Two Witnesses. The Bible plainly states: “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD” (Mal. 4:5). . . . . READ MORE . . . .

QUESTION: When was the first man created?

ANSWER: The first man (Adam) was created approximately 6,000 years ago (about 4,000 BC) according to Genesis 1:26-27:

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

QUESTION: What do you think of all the modern Bibles? Does it matter which version of the Bible is used?

ANSWER: Yes, it matters very much! Just because it is called a “Bible” doesn’t mean that it is the true Word of God! The “King James Version” is the most reliable that I know of. Always read any version of the Bible carefully, and it is wise to compare it with the KJV.

EXAMPLE:

John 3:16 (King James Version):

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16 (New International Version):

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Jesus is the “only begotten Son” of God — but is Jesus the “one and only Son” of God? NO!

QUESTION: Why did the Wise Men go to Jerusalem after seeing Jesus’ star in the East?

ANSWER: Jesus’ star did not lead the Wise Men to Jerusalem.

The Wise Men went to Jerusalem because that is where they expected to find the newborn King of the Jews.

When the Wise Men left Herod at Jerusalem to continue their search for Jesus, they saw “His star” again and then followed “His star” to the house where Jesus was living at that time. . . . TO READ MORE, CLICK: “Jesus’ Star” under “Religious”.

QUESTION: What is the record that God gave of His Son?

ANSWER: I John 5:10-11:

10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made Him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of His Son.

11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

If a person does not believe the record that God gave of His Son (that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son), that person makes God a liar. That is, if a person does not believe in eternal security (i.e., believes that a saved person can lose salvation and, therefore, does not have eternal life), that person makes God a liar. A person who makes God a liar does not have eternal life.. . . . READ MORE . . . .
